Equipment Guide - Blade and Soul Revolution

In the guide I will explain you everything you need to know about equipments from selecting a piece of equipment to enhancing it, restoring durability and reforging it.

Equipment Rarity:

Equipments are available in seven different rarities. They are Normal, Refined, Superior, Radiant Superior, Heroic, Radiant Heroic and Legendary.

Equipment Type:

Equipments are available in four types. They are Attack type, Defense type, Hunt type and PVP type. Each type provides buffs respective to their type names. E.g. Equipping a set of Attack type equipment provides bonus attack power and equipping a set of Hunt type equipment provides bonus exp gain.

Selecting equipments:

Lot of beginners make mistake by equipping Heroic equipments right off the bat. Yes, you can get Heroic equipments in the early stages of the game from events but enhancing heroic equipment is extremely difficult and almost impossible during the early game. This will be explained further in Durability section. Superior and Radiant Superior are more than enough for the early game.

Enhancement:

Enhancing is like leveling-up equipment. You need Enhancement Stones or Radiant Enhancement Stones and silver to enhance equipment. It can be done at fire pits in any town. You get bonus stats on successful enhancement but if you fail your equipment will lose one durability. Enhancement Stones and Radiant Enhancement Stones have the same success rates. The only difference is Enhancement Stone increase enhancement level by one whereas the Radiant Enhancement Stones have a chance to increase enhancement level by two.

Durability:

Every equipment has some durability. This is indicated by orange dots next to Enhance Durability in equipment info. The durability of equipment increases with rarity.

  • Normal, Refined and Superior equipments have one durability.
  • Radiant Superior and Heroic equipments have two durability.
  • Radiant Heroic and Legendary equipments have three durability.
Every time you fail enhancement you lose one durability and if you fail enhancement on equipment with zero durability it will break. Broken equipments cannot be enhanced or sold at the marketplace. You can restore the durability of the broken equipments at the fire pits. Restoring durability requires the other equipment of the same rarity and enhancement level at most five level below the broken item (e.g. for restoring durability of +12 enhanced bracelets you will need at least +7 enhanced bracelets) as material and silver. You can use multiple equipment at the same time to increase durability restoration success rate. On successful restoration your equipment will be restored to zero durability and you can enhance it one more time. If this fails then it will break again and you have to restore it once again. Thus enhancing and restoring requires a lot of equipment as materials and since you cannot get a lot of heroic equipment at early stages you will be stuck with a low-level broken heroic weapon if you use heroic weapon in the early game. To avoid this, don't use heroic unless you have unlocked the Heroic Dungeons.

Reforging:

You can reforge or get new additional stats by reforging equipment at fire pits. Reforging requires Forgestone and silver. Stats of grade C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, L can be obtained from reforging. You can lock the specific stats if you don't wish to reforge it by clicking on the fixed button next to the stats. This requires Fixed Forgestone. You can craft Fixed Forgestone at the general merchant.
